AWSI recommendations in Chinese

China is considered the home country of aquaculture. As early as in the Middle Ages, carp were raised in ponds as a food source in the territory of today’s People’s Republic of China.

Today, China is the largest producer of food from aquaculture worldwide. To pay respect to this, the AWSI recommendations on animal welfare in aquaculture are now also available in Chinese.
